hi thank you for accepting me .
its a hard time at the moment by mum had a fall and was taken to hospital and they found she had a tumour to her brain (this effected her mobility) she had an operation on the 24th June 2019 to remove the tumour then we went back on the 26 th this month to find that she actually has lung ,kidney ,brain and groin cancer .
the team have advised that we have only a matter of weeks left with her .
im lost as my mum didn’t want to know how long she had and I just want to cry every time I see her .
i have taken emergency leave from work to be with her but at the moment she is looking well (apart from losing 4stone in a month )
Hi
I am so sorry to hear about your mum. It must have been such a shock to hear that the cancer is so widespread. You sound a very loving and caring daughter.
I think the feeling of being lost is one that many here will recognise and it might help to share this with people going through something similar by joining our group supporting someone with incurable cancer. Click on the link below and you can join the group and then read through some of the discussions and start your own. You could just copy and paste what you’ve written here:

It’s important that you look after yourself as you care for your mum
I wish you all the best

Hi Mwood
So sorry to hear your sad news. Same thing happened to my dad, he had a fall and then we found out about aggressive lung cancer, bone cancer, lymph node cancer. I've had 3 weeks of work to help with my dad and I too feel so lost and alone, I'm on an emotional rollercoaster and it's dreadfully hard. Just know you are not alone. Big hugs xxxxxx
Thank you it is just so hard as to look at her at the moment she looks fine (apart from weight loss and mobility loss ) I just don’t even know we’re tocstart
Thank you I’m aiming to be strong for my father and my sister and her children .
it just hard as at the moment apart from weight loss and mobility she looks good
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
