Hi
Although I had a test which was clear , my friend did have test which showed cancer in this same area, he had a small section removed and he was left completely ‘Cancer Free’ ! A real success !
Stay positive ‘Cancer can and often is ‘Beaten’ - I’ve had Hodgkins Lymphoma; Prostate Cancer and now Kidney Cancer . First diagnosed with Lymphoma at 13yrs old - I’m now 62.
Best Wishes
David
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm glad to hear that your friend is now cancer free but I'm sorry to hear that after dealing with two previous cancers you are now being treated for kidney cancer.
Could I suggest that you join the kidney cancer group as there's nothing like sharing experiences with others who understand what you're going through.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
