Hey there, My Dads been given 6-9 months to live and I’m really struggling to come to terms with it and my head is a mess at the moment. I was hoping someone would be able to give me some advice on how to cope right now? Thank you
Hi and welcome to the online community although I'm sorry you've had to find us.
It's perfectly normal to feel that you're struggling to comes to terms with your dad's recent diagnosis. You may find this information from Macmillan useful in helping you to understand these feelings and also this on dealing with your emotions when someone close to you has cancer.
Hopefully you'll find that talking to others in a similar situation to yourself is a real help so can I suggest that you join the family and friends group where you can share your feelings and get support.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
