I’m a little lost, hoping some kind soul will point me in the right direction to some relevant groups!

I had a malignant melanoma (1B) removed from my back a few weeks ago and last week I had a wider excision and a lymph node from both underarms. Had no idea it would be such a long op or how bad the scarring and pain would be. I’ve another week or two before I find out results.  I have wonderful family and friends but feeling like Should hold back so not to burden them. I’m usually supporting everyone else and have a positive attitude in life.

Thank you for reading x

  • Hello , and welcome to the online community, I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but I’d like to invite you over to join us in the melanoma group, just click on the link I’m putting in below and then click the join group bit and decide how often you want to be notified of discussions. If there’s anything you want to ask for help with or to just introduce yourself just start a discussion like you’ve done in here.

I’m a Melanoma Patient as well, I was diagnosed in 2015 so I hope to see you over in the group and let’s see if we can help you during your wait for your results, I forgot to look to see if you’ve written a profile for yourself yet, if you want to take a look at mine just click on my user name and it will take you there.

    Best wishes

    Take care KT
