Hello,
I'm just really looking for an outlet or something to start coping with losing my mum. My mum has sarcoma cancer which has spread to her lungs. We recently got told that she wasn't responding to the chemo.
I'm just struggling with all this pent up anger and emotion, struggling to come to terms that my mum isn't going to be a part of my life soon and that she won't be able to see all the milestones me and my sisters reach.
To be honest... I'm terrified. I'm just wondering how others have coped etc.
Hi and welcome to the online community although I'm very sorry that you've had to find us.
It must be very hard for you all at the moment having just learnt that your mum's cancer is not curable. It's perfectly normal to have the feelings that you're experiencing and I think you would benefit from joining the supporting someone with incurable cancer group. There you can freely express your emotions and get support from others who will understand how this is affecting you.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
Sending a supportive ((hug))
