I'm sorry to hear that your mum probably has cancer. I can see that you've joined and posted in the lung cancer group so presume that this is the type of cancer it's thought your mum has. As you've already discovered there are lots of helpful people in that group who will be willing to share their experiences with you and give you support.
I'm not sure if you're going to be your mum's carer but, if so, you could join the carers only group. As it's name implies it's only for carers so you might find the family and friends group is more appropriate. Whichever group you join you'll find it a safe and supportive place to discuss your worries and emotions.
To join one of these groups just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your mum's journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
