I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It was nine days ago and I’m still crying can’t seem to get a grip
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis. It's perfectly natural to feel the way you do. Although my cancer was different to yours I still remember how numb I felt after I'd been told.
I'm sure that talking to other people who understand what you're going through will help you so can I suggest that you join the pancreatic cancer group. There you'll find people to share experiences with and get support.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Sending a very big (((hug)))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
