Just been diagnosed with endometrial cancer

Very scared

  • Hello and welcome to the community at what we know must be a difficult time for you and your family. No matter what type of cancer we are diagnosed with, we all experience the same emotions and many of us will understand how you are feeling. I notice you have found your way to the Womb group . If you post your concerns and questions in the group, the ladies who have experienced this will be able to help and support you and answer any questions you may have. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hello , I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis, I haven’t met anyone yet who isn’t scared when they are first diagnosed, you are now among people who recognise that and are happy to talk and support especially in the friendly womb group that I can see that you’ve joined. You may want to repost in there to say hello in that group.Go to the 'Start a Discussion' tab just under the main group name and set up your own Discussion and introduce yourself to the group - you could just copy an paste what you have in this first post.

You may also find the various Macmillan Support Line Services to be helpful - call them on 0808 808 00 00 the free service covers Emotional Support, Practical Information. Clinical Information, Financial Support and Work Guidance mostly open 8.00 to 8.00 but check out the information in the link.

Our Online Information and Support Section  is a good place to find information covering cancer diagnosis, treatments and coping emotionally.

Just take one step at a time, your doing really well, posting in here, finding your group, and doing your profile, well done.

    Best wishes

    Take care KT
