hi. I was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2013. I was meant to be celebrating 5 years ‘no sign of cancer’ but instead I have such pain & discomfort under my arm and lumps on my neck. It’s bad enough waiting for the appointment on Tuesday but the pain I have is hard to cope with.......does anyone have similar.......is this metastatic...,,,,,,what can I take to ease the discomfort?
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to hear that when you should be celebrating you have this pain and these lumps to worry about.
Could I suggest that you join the breast cancer group as there are lots of very helpful people over there who can perhaps answer your questions.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or ask a question after selecting 'start a discussion' or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
