Hi I’d just like to introduce myself, i first joined this community way back in 2013 when I was diagnosed with melanoma, luckily it was only in situ & once I’d got over the shock I moved on with my life feeling very lucky!
Unfortunately may this year (2019) I was diagnosed with invasive micro papillary breast cancer with 3 out of 4 nodes involved. This time round I’m using our health insurance, which isn’t quite up to nhs standards especially when it comes to help advice and support, no bcn, no chemo line or book, very minimum drugs etc, which is why I’ve decided to become a more active user. Hopefully when I have questions someone will be able to help me out as I literally have no one to ask.
Hope that’s ok x
Hi ruthie2 and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm so glad to hear that you managed to move on after having a melanoma diagnosis. It doesn't matter that it was 'only in situ' it's still a tremendous shock. However, I'm sad that you've had to come back here again.
I see that you've joined the breast cancer group and I'm sure all the knowledgeable people over there will be able to help out with any questions you might have.
x
