Hi, new to this forum. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 , had mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy. Recurrence in 2018 in lymph nodes and separate tumour in kidney. Had more surgery, chemo and radio this year. Fed up with it all and at that point after treatment where I feel a bit ‘lost’.

    Hi

Welcome to the online community. I’m so sorry to hear about everything you’ve been through. No wonder you’re fed up. I would be too.

This community is organised into groups so you can get in touch with people who have had similar experiences. We share experiences, listen to the rants, and also have a laugh.

There are a number of breast cancer groups, including one for women with secondary breast cancer. Click on the link below, follow the instructions to join and start a discussion:

    https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_types/breast-secondary-cancer/

We do have a wide range of groups for more emotional support too. You can explore them here:

You may find our various Macmillan Support Line Services to be helpful - call them on 0808 808 00 00 This free service covers Emotional Support, Practical Information. Clinical Information, Financial Support and Work Guidance mostly open 8.00 to 8.00 but check the link.

We also have our ‘Ask an Expert’ section where you can post questions to our mostly Volunteer Experts but please allow 2 working days to get a reply.

Our Online Information and Support Section  is a good place to find information covering cancer diagnosis, treatments and pages covering most types of cancers.

When you feel up to it try putting some information in your profile. This really helps others when answering. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. Just click on YOUR username, select 'Edit Profile'. Put as much or as little in your profile and you can amend it at any time - you can see members profiles by hitting our forum names.

I wish you all the best. I’ve lived through recurrence and treatment and I know how hard it can be.
