Spread to lymph nodes and to liver had whipple surgery 3 months ago and started chemotherapy 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions for help fighting this from spreading?

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community although I'm sorry you've had to find us.

Ampullary cancer is a rare cancer and there isn't a separate group for people with this type. However, if you join the pancreatic cancer group you will find others in that group with this type of cancer.

You may also benefit from joining the secondary liver cancer group and secondary lymph node group so that you can post your question about how to prevent further spread to as many people as possible.

To join any or all of these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the pages that open. You can then post a question or introduce yourself after selecting 'start a discussion' and respond to existing posts by clicking on 'reply'.

When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
