I have had my first chemo and immunotherapy a week ago i am stage 4 lung cancer everything is ok I feel a bit nauseous and my stomach has bloated but all in all I’m ok. The one thing that is worrying me I have started to bleed like a period very light but it’s been going on for 3 days on and off I rang the hospital and they seemed to think it’s ok just to keep an eye on it .I’m 63! Has anyone else had this problem

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

It's reassuring that your team think that your side effect to chemotherapy and immunotherapy is nothing to worry about but it's always nice to be able to talk to other people who are going through the same treatment as you.

I see that you have found the lung cancer group and if you post your question there, including the names of the treatments you're on, you might find someone else who has experienced this. Clicking on the link I've created will take you back there.

If no one in the group has had a similar experience you could also post in ask a nurse and one of the specialist cancer nurses will respond within 2 working days.

When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
