Last Friday I found out my dad was in stage 4 cancer and that it was terminal.
Firstly he was in a lot of pain in the bottom of his stomach and the doctors diagnosed him with pneumonia after doing tests at the hospital. They put him on antibiotics and steriods and said he had a bad infection which was the result if the pneumonia.
A week later he was tired a lot and couldn't get motivated or do anything cause of these pains he was having so my mum took him back to doctors. This time he would have tests at hospital. They put my dad to sleep and put a camera down his throat to see what was going on in his stomach and they found a shadow on his lung. Then my beautiful sister donna who went with my parents had to find out tragically that my dad had terminal lung cancer and had six to twelve months left to live. Extremely heartbreaking. It was the worst Day of my life when I found out I love my dad.
Has anyone got any advice at all or has anybody been through a similar experience before x
