Hi.
I'm new to the site and recently diagnosed with cancer in lymph node .
Still getting tests to find primary
Not sure how I feel yet
Hi Abrn, I am in the same boat as you, diagnosed nearly 3 weeks ago with cancerous cells in lymph node and am awaiting CT scan to find primary.
My thoughts ran riot and, believe me, I can understand your emotions. I have found a lot of comfort from this site and have taken a positive attitude of 'keep going as usual' . I am doing all my normal daily activities, housework, gardening (which I love), looking after my beloved cats (4) and anything else that comes along.
You can get through this, take it one day at a time, everyone is supporting you, you are not alone, as they say keep calm and keep going. Lots of hugs xx
Hi.
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis.
You seem positive though just getting on with normal stuff is all you can do.
It's the waiting.
I've had 2 scans and 2 biopsies. First lot of tests showed cancer in lymph node but can't find primary . Going into hospital next week hopefully know more then. I'm still doing every day stuff but of work .
Hopefully you don't have to wait too long.
Keep thinking positive x
Hi, I agree waiting is when your mind can run away with itself but the answer is not to let it.
At the mo I have no idea what to expect, they have said where the lymph node is it is suggestive of the lungs, an x-ray didn't show anything untoward but its only one dimensional so something could be hidden. My only struggle at the present is I am T2 diabetic and been given steroids which I was warned could raise blood sugar and in the morning after breakfast sugar levels are winging up and making me very tired for about 2 hours. I just kind of wait it out and then get on.
Just going to weed front garden, let the neighbours see I am not taking iit lying down!!
Hope you have some answers soon but meanwhile "keep dancing"!!
Take care and be strong x
