  • Hi and welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to hear that your mum has breast cancer and it's perfectly normal to want to be able to get support.

I see that you've already joined the breast cancer group where you can ask questions and share experiences about treatment. You might also find it useful to join the family and friends group where you can share your worries and get support.

To join this group just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then post your question after selecting 'start a discussion' and respond to existing post by clicking on 'reply'. To save you typing it out again just copy and paste it from here into a new post.

When you feel up to it, it would be really useful if could pop something about your mum's journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • My mum starts round 2 chemo on Fri 12th July.

She is on her holibobs at the moment in great yarmouth recuperating after round 1 of chemo so she's ready to sock cancer right in the mouth lol.

Since her diagnosis our family unit is giving the cancer the contempt it deserves ha ha x
