Wigs

Hi  and welcome to the online community although I'm sorry that you've had to find us.

It's perfectly normal to want to feel normal so I can understand that you'd want to find a suitable wig in case you lose your hair while having chemotherapy.

You haven't said what type of cancer you're being treated for so, at the moment, I can only suggest that you join the chemotherapy group and post your question there. If you want to tell me what type of cancer you have them I could also suggest an appropriate group to join where the members can tell you where they obtained wigs from.

To join this group just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then post your question after selecting 'start a discussion' and respond to existing post by clicking on 'reply'. To save you typing it out again just copy and paste it from here into a new post.

When you feel up to it, it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. I have a very rare tumour at the top of my nostrel and next to my eye, I'm told I'm unique! I have looked in head and neck and there aren't going to be many people in the same boat given the rarity.
