Hi i am new to the forum so i am waiting to join specific groups. I have not long had 6 rounds of chemo and i find i am experiencing pulling and soreness underneath tops of legs where they meet the buttocks. Also around pelvic areas, has anyone else had this and is there anything you can do for it. Thank you in advance for replies.

  • Hello and welcome  I am very sorry to hear of your discomfort following chemotherapy.

I am unsure which cancer you are being treated for but you can join groups by clicking on the groups icon and scrolling down to the group you need and then click on it and when you get into the group page press 'join' and that way you can ask questions from others who are going though a similar experience.

It maybe helpful to ask an expert too, Ask a Nurse. They can give you some expert advice regarding your pain your going though. Although we are each different I would always say to speak to your speacialist team, your clinical nurse speacialist is your go to person to speak to over concerns over treatment. For your own reassurance I would also check with them.

Hope you get some relief soon

  • Hi  and welcome to the online community

I'd be happy to recommend specific groups for you to join but you don't say in this, or your previous post, what type of cancer you're being treated for. If you can give me some more information I'll post links to the various groups for you where I'm sure they'll be people who can help with your question.
