I am hoping someone can advise me I finished all treatment last February I’ve had surgery chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I’m still feeling tired and pain in joints my family says I should be ok now is this usual ? Thanks.
Hi , the post treatment recovery can take time and often a lot longer than some people understand...... so your family looks like they don’t understand the challenges post treatment,

Thank you for your reply greatly appreciate. Partner and family are very good but I feel I’m fighting the challenge alone but McMillan can listen. Cancer is a life changing experience and I’ve met some lovely people during hospital visits.Some days I’m ok I’m here ! Some arnt so lucky I’m grateful I look at all things with much more understanding and appreciate all things. Some days I fear it will come back then I think I’m wasting time worrying. Thank you for reading this .
This part of the marathon takes time and perseverance. Check out opportunities to talk with people face to face as this can help a lot so check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support Groups in your area or a Maggie’s Centre as these folks are amazing.
