Hi
I had melanoma back in 2016 that was operated on, given the all clear then unfortunately needed to have my lymph nodes removed in March 2018 with follow up Radiotherapy. I have had Full body CT Scans that have come back as 'Nothing of concern' I want to go on holiday BUT trying to get travel insurance is a minefield ....It's for a single trip, albeit a European cruise.. Staysure just point blank refused and other 'specialist websites' are priced at what I think is astronomical up to £1600 so was wondering where to look, or is this the price I have to pay.
Thanks
Hi and welcome to the online community
Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to find reasonably priced travel insurance when you have had a cancer diagnosis.
Could I point you in the direction of the travel insurance group where you can look at the recommendations of others who have got reasonably priced travel insurance.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. Once you've done that look down the first page for the thread called 'Recommended Travel Insurance' thread as it's where the bulk of the recommendations are.
It is best to phone the travel companies rather than try and do online quotes so that you can get the quote tailored for you.
I do hope that you can get insurance and that you have a lovely holiday.
