Hello. I’ve just joined this forum. I’ve been diagnosed with primary colon cancer but also liver and lung cancer. I’ve been told that this is a late diagnosis. I’m waiting to find out the treatment I can have. I’d like to hear from anyone in or who has been in the same situation. Thank you.
HI and a warm welcome to the online community although I'm sorry that you've had to find us.
It's a great idea to connect with other people who have the same or similar diagnosis to you as it gives you the opportunity to share experiences and get support.
With that in mind I'm going to suggest a few groups that you might like to join. These are the bowel cancer, secondary liver cancer and secondary lung cancer groups. The first one is a lot more active than the other two but you should get answers and support from all three.
To join any or all of these groups, just click on the links I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the pages that opens. To ask a question or introduce yourself select 'start a discussion'. You can also respond to existing posts by clicking on 'reply'.
When you feel up to it, it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
