My mum has been diagnosed with grade 3 metaplastic carcinoma, shes had breast cancer previously in same breast 20 years ago but this is a different cancer. Really nervous shes waiting for CT scan results. They say its a rare cancer? Not too sure what i want at the min prob just to know if anyone else has had this? What to expect.
Hi
I am so sorry to hear about your mum. It’s such a worrying time waiting for scans and results so I can well imagine you are feeling nervous. I do hope it comes soon.
I had a different type of cancer so I can’t help with what to expect but I know some people who can. There is a triple negative breast cancer support group on this site - just click the link below and start a discussion

At such a worrying time it might help to find others d who, like you, are thinking about a family member. We do have a family and friends group too

I hope you will be able to find some information and support here in the community
best wishes
