Hi, apologies for my long profile.

I've had a bad week this week and I think I needed to vent.

I'm not sure this is for me as I'm not one for social media (I hate Facebook with a passion lol)

But yeah after being diagnosed on 28th March followed by a lumpectomy on 26th April I've suddenly gone downhill. (I've been really strong up until this past week)

I feel drained and just down. (I'm recovering from a bad cold so that's probably not helped)

My energy levels are low and I think I now realise what the word 'fatigue' means as I still feel so tired and heavy limbed when I wake. Everything seems to take ages to do.

I've had mixed news this week folliwing my surgery. Good news in that my lymph nodes are clear but bad news in that I need to have more surgery next week as a small lump was found in the margins.

I just want it all to end and go away.

Hi and welcome to the online community and I'm very sorry to see you here, no one joins us from choice but through necessity but all are welcome and I'm pleased that you felt you could reach out to us.

This is a safe place to come to at anytime for a chat or to let off steam or simply have a rant we all do it and we all understand the need to do it.

Please be assured that this is nothing like Facebook we come together and openly discuss problems in one or more of the many groups we have and I would like to invite you to join our Breast cancer forum group and introduce yourself to the many members in this group who are all very supportive to each other and give lots of help, support and advice to each other and you will find it's a very active group made up with people in different stages to you and can help you in your journey.

You've had the good news and the bad news but I'm pleased to say that I've got some good news for you, this time when you have your surgery you will have the members all routing for you and wishing you well

It's good that you given us your profile and no it's not too long everything in it helps the other members to relate to you.

I see from your profile page that in a month's time you're off on holiday and looking forward to some swimming in the warm sea what a wonderful thing to look forward to and I believe the members of the breast group will be very interested in this and would welcome the odd photograph or two. I alsio see that you've managed out for some retail therapy and bought items for the holiday this is a great step forward and I hope you enjoyed it.

With the breast group the members are about at some very strange times and come on here looking for a chat and I'm sure you be made very welcome. You can join in discussions, ask questions about anything you want they don't mind they talk about everything under the sun so why not pop along to the group and introduce yourself.

When you join the group make sure you alter your membership settings so that you receive every notification, you don't want to be left out and not be able to join in.
