Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and have come here to see if anyone has had similar. I will try  to keep short. I have been suffering for 2 years trying to get answers from doctors about my symptons and after seeing a few specialists and arguing with them finally got a colonscopy. My symptons are vomiting food/fluids/acid. Food sticking in eosphagus, or sticking just before stomach. Painful on swallowing, heartburn, chest pains, regurgitation of food and if food got into stomach vomiting back up. Constant acid all day, worse at night, constant burping. To be honest I've probably listed enough for you to get the picture. So went for endoscopy on 7th May 2019, was given a report and told to wait to see specialist. I don't understand what the findings mean and am worried, has anyone had similar here is what report said, the ogj & scj at 32cm. There is schatzki ring and oesophagitis with ulcers at scj. The diaphrgamatic pinch is at 42cm suggesting a very large hiatus hernia. free reflux into oesphagus.                                 That is it. Confusing. Forgot to say I'm 54 years old.

  • Hi and welcome to the community, although sorry to about your discomfort and the confusion with your results. I am not familiar with this, but could I recommend you post your question in the Gullet (oesophagus) group . The members of the group will have experience of this and should be able to help. Click the highlighted link to get to the group and post your question there. You may find it easier to copy and paste your above post in the group rather than retyping. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.
