I am really sorry to hear you are struggling. I haven’t looked at family and friends so I haven’t seen your post. Did it help to write things down? I understand not wanting to burden family but maybe family would like to help?

The waiting is very hard and I hope you’ll find things settle down once you know what you’re dealing with and there’s a plan in place. Meanwhile, big hugs. I know it’s not much but it’s all I have

Hi madaboutmutts, I don’t normally go into the Friends and Family Forum (I am the patient) but had a look at your post - OMG what time your husband and the family have had and the swollen Lymph-node is just adding to this.

The MDT next week will give you the answers and if required a plan. Having lived with a blood cancer (Lymphoma) for over 20 years I can truly say that the Lymphatic System is very reactive to the smallest medical issue. 

If this is cancer then it has been caught early and that is good. Please come back once you have more details.

Thsnk you so much - I really appreciate your time.  What really worried me is that the consultant said the cancer cells had come from somewhere else and the back pain issue is not helping.  Still no good worrying until we know more - but am really dreading Tuesday.  Meanwhile husband has just taken our dog for a long walk whistling as he goes - but I know he is terrified!   I feel so bad for him and just dont know how to help. As you are the patient do you have any suggestions?  Thank you again so much.
