what a ride so far. After several appointments with ear, nose and throat then respiratory we finally found ourselves sittting in a waiting room for a neurologist. Finally agreed that a ct scan would be beneficial.
results 5 days later....... meningioma in the frontal lobe. to say this was a shock would be an understatement. Even the neurologist was surprised He was convinced the diagnosis would be pppd.
appologised for his error and we find ourselves with trips to Cambridge and appiintments with neurology surgeons.
Hi and a warm welcome to the online community although I'm sorry for the reason that you've had to find us.
I can certainly understand what a shock you and your wife have just had. I see that you have found the carers group and I'm sure you'll find it a great place to share your worries and get support.
You might also like to join the brain tumours group where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support from others who will understand what you are dealing with.
To join this group just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself, or ask a question, by selecting 'start a discussion'. If you want to respond to an existing post click on 'reply'.
