Hi ,
I have literally just joined & looking to see if any ladies on here have had the same findings as I have.
Iv noticed a very slight dent on the lower part of my left breast, (it’s very faint) , I can only see it when I raise my left arm & even then it can be hard to see , I don’t have any lumps there , I took photos of the area on my phone & I can it a lot more visually from that as it’s more to inner under part of my breast , I’m not sure if it’s stretch mark or not or if im just being overly paranoid and silly ,
My Mum passed away 2 yrs ago from Non Hodgkin Lymphoma, My Sister was diagnosed with breast cancer a month after my mum was diagnosed & my other sister had bowel cancer , my dad has had skin cancer , thankfully my dad & 2 sisters are ok now but I’m concerned with their being family history there ,
im telling myself it’s just my mind playing tricks on me one minute & the next I’m looking things up trying to find any one to who has had any similar findings , I’m reading a lot about dimpling of the breast I’m not sure if it is a dimple , just a slight dent ,
can anyone else advise ?
I do have an appointment with my GP this coming Tuesday jsit to see what they think
thanks in advance
Hi Macca1234,
It could be something or nothing and you've done absolutely the right thing by making an appointment with the Doctor..
You can get it checked out and put your mind at rest. Hope it goes well for you.
Janet

Hi Janet ,
Yes I hope so, I have been reading a lot he last few days of women who only found a slight mark on the breast with no lump so wondered if there was anyone on here who had found anything similar, I watched Dr Jones on the Lorraine kelly show Earleir in the week and it spurred me to double check myself again as I’d thought nothing of it but 1 lady had said all she found was a faint dimple
Hi Macca1234
My BC was picked up at routine mammogram. I checked breasts and didn't feel anything. When I got the call back I checked again and noticed some hardness by nipple in r. breast and it turned out to be cancer. Just so glad they caught it before it spread. I've had mastectomy and waiting for next treatment.
Try not to google too much you can scare yourself silly!
hugs
Janet
