Hi I'm hoping someone can help. My papa has been diagnosed with cancer. He was diagnosed feb2018 and has now to wait and see whether chemo would be a viable option for him. He's really keen on alternative therapies instead of chemo. I said I'd research it for him but I really dont know where to start. He's nearly 80 so not anything that will be to harsh on him. Really appreciate any help and advice. Thank you.
Hi
That’s a tricky position for you. I think I would start here by reading through the Macmillan information on alternative therapies
Alternative therapies are used instead of conventional medical treatments. They are not tested in the same way as conventional medical treatments. Some claim to treat or cure cancer. But no alternative therapies have been proven to cure cancer or slow its growth and some may be harmful. We do not advocate the use of alternative therapies
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
