Hi I'm new to this as I got diagnosed yesterday with throat cancer and waiting to see if it has spread now. This is really hard to get my head round at the moment as you can understand.
My. Question is, now this weather is turning and the sun is coming out am I allowed to sit out in the sun or should I stay out of it or cover up if I do go out?
Many thanks
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. I can completely understand what a worrying time this is for you.
Could I suggest that you join the head and neck cancer group and post your question about avoiding the sun there.
To join this group just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the pages that opens. You can then introduce yourself, or ask a question, by selecting 'start a discussion'. If you want to respond to an existing post click on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
