We have just got results last Wednesday that my husband has agressive bladder cancer. We were both very shocked and didn't ask any questions on what happens next as we didn't expect to hear this. We were given the option of surgery to remove the bladder and prostate but no time factor on when it will be done. Still finding it hard to except and find it hard to think of anything else.
Hello and welcome to the community, although sorry you find yourself here. Any cancer diagnosis is very frightening for all of the family and the early days of uncertainty can be the worst. I am from the Bladder Group . If you come and join us in the group, you can post your questions and concerns there. There are many of us who have been through this and are still here to tell the tale. Bladder removal is always the first option, but there may be alternatives. Click the link to get to the group and start anew discussion there. The more information you can give on your husband's diagnosis, such as stage and grade, the better. Best wishes.
