I need help. Don't know how to console him. He had a breakdown, wants to cancel surgery. He's scared, fed up and worried he may not come out OK once operation is performed. I can't say anything to help only sit and listen and try to console him. I feel bloody useless
Hi
I am so sorry you feel like this and to hear about what your husband is going through. It sounds like a tough time.
There are plenty of people who have been through lung cancer surgery and come out ok. There’s a lung cancer group in this community where others might advise you.

There are also groups where you might get some support. It certainly sounds like you need it. It can be a real help to know that someone is listening and maybe facing something similar. Have a look at our family and friends and emotional issues groups.
