Hello
I am new to the groups, but I need some advice.
I had stage 3C hormone positive lobular breast cancer 8 years ago.
I am now getting very sore ribs, at the sides but also at the back. I’m petrified that it’s bone cancer and I don’t know what to do. I have also got post mastectomy pain syndrome, so I’m not sure if it’s linked?
Many thanks
Bon x
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
Having overcome breast cancer 8 years ago I'm sorry to hear that you're now worried that it might have spread to your bones. Could I suggest that you join both the breast cancer and secondary breast cancer groups and post your question there. My suggestion for you to join these groups isn't because I think you have cancer but because I'm sure someone there will be able to help you further.
To join these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the pages that open. You can then post your question by selecting 'start a discussion'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
