Am interested if anyone has any similar experiences. I was diagnosed with stage 2 bowel CA in 2015 had chemo and surgeries over 2 years and then in 2018 following a routine mammogram was diagnosed with triple negative breast CA. I am currently having chemo after having a lumpectomy. I am still reeling with the shock. I don't know anyone that has had 2 primary's in such a short time. Is there anyone there who has had similar??.

This is such a hard time for you and the rest of the family but talking with people on the same journey can help a lot. My cancer jointly was rather different but if you follow this LINK  to our Breast Cancer Forum where you will be able to connect with people on the same path.

Just join the group and hit the 'Start a Discussion' tab and introduce yourself to the group. Remember to go to the right on the home page and indicate how you want to receive email notifications when someone answers your posts.

Hi Thehighlander, than.  you for taking the time to answer. As you can probably guess I am not quite sure what to do. Cheers

  • Once you get a feel for how the site works you will find a safe place to get support and vent.

Once you join the Breast Cancer Forum you can look through all the threads by using the ‘Discussions’ tab.

If you want to reply in someone’s thread just hit the reply box near the bottom and always say the name of the person your post is for - just like you have done for me - well done.

We also have an ‘Ask an Expert’ section where you can post questions to some of our experts.

    ((hugs))

    Hi Foxtrot,

yep non hodgkinsons lymphoma (follicular lymphoma) 2015 and breast cancer 2017 both caught early and treated via surgery and RT. Interestingly I’m back on the treadmill for a 3rd primary (sarcoma) investigation at the moment. I’m getting very paranoid about “odd” years! I’m currently telling myself that I can’t be that unlucky and the odds are it’s a lipoma but until the results are in its back to the dreadful wait Disappointed

so you’re not alone there and totally understand your feelings  of shock.

    best wishes S
