Is anyone treating their cancer naturally, through diet, herbs and exercise, please?
Hi
Warm welcome to the Mac Community.
Hard to figure out if you actually mean alternative or complimentary therapies - so I'll try and pass on some info on both :)
There is an extensive info section here about Alternative Therapies and if you click the cover image below you can read / download the Cancer and Complimentary Therapies Guide which covers both over 70 pages.
Hope this is of some help, G n' J
Thanks v much. I mean naturally/using traditional healing methods for regaining health. I'm keen to meet others doing it, and I'm hoping some might be here
Many thanks
Best
Hi , Dreamthief has given you a good starting point to go forward. You don't have any information in your profile so we can't specifically direct you to groups with the same cancer type as yourself as each cancer type has its own very specific issues with regards to pre, during and post treatment wellbeing.
I would recommend that you look out for a local Maggie's Centre or similar as these organisations can help connect you in with like minded folks, this is the best way forward as you can share ideas and get support.
As my first SNC said to me at the start of my journey 'Trust your medical team as they have been doing this for a long time, eat a balanced non junk food diet and exercise regularly' best advice I have ever received in my 19+ years cancer journey.
Thanks v much, The Highlander.
I'm looking for people treating themselves naturally, rather than advice re therapies . We're aiming to build a stronger community to reduce isolation, irrespective of cancer type.
Thanks v much, we'll contact Maggie's to see if there are people there
Regards
Hello,
I'm treating myself using natural methods and would really like to meet others doing the same. I was advised by the lady at macmillan on the phone to reach out to Penny Brohn organisation in Bristol to meet like minded people.
Best wishes
Suzy
