Can lemphodema be treated as my arm has swelled up so much that I can't use it. I am waiting for a sleeve to be made.

Sorry to read this, lymphoedema can be very debilitating when it gets worse :-/
Perhaps you need the help of a specialist Lymph drainage therapist. There is some drainage massage you can do yourself which is mentioned in the MLD link.
