I am waiting for blood results from the cancer team for a Chemo appointment tomorrow. I am anxious about this and the whole appointment.
I get a call from my surgery I think this will be about a prescription It is the receptionist saying the nurse has asked me to call about my blood results. I am utterly thrown. Your calcium is a bit high, could I make an appointment for a follow up next week and drink more. I tell her I am in fact waiting for a call from the cancer team about my bloods for Chemo tomorrow and now have lot of questions about what that means for me So I do say I don't expect her to answer those She is mortified once it sinks in .I am asked twice about making another appointment for next week
To which I say I'm sorry I can't think straight now I'm so stressed and freaked out I will call back when I know what is going on and I am going to have to go Thanks and goodbye.
It's no-one fault.
Jeff would be here for me to rant but he can't. He has to deal with another one with occupational therapy and training for equipment for me

treatment is always stressful and I am not surprised this call from the doctors surgery threw you. Glad all is ok for the chemo tomorrow, hope that goes well for you. X
