No more treatment

Hello again. My treatment stopped 3 months ago. I was in a hospice for a few weeks, and have been at home ever since. Is anyone else in my situation of no more treatment?

I have to be in bed most of the time due to problems with the base of my spine. The doctors seen to agree I could be like this for months.

Hi Lucy, pleased that you have the support of the care nurse. It must make such a difference to be able to talk to someone that allows you to express your thoughts freely.

I’m so pleased for you that the palliative care nurse is someone you can talk openly to and have a cry with, that’s so important. You sound a little bit more positive and I’m sure seeing the nurse helps. You are looking forward to her next visit. Sending love and hugs. Just post when you can and we’ll be here.
