Lucky you Pet, your lovely warm days aren't far away (that's if they ever left you). I can't quite see if that's the fruit of the Swiss cheese plant. Swiss cheese plants were in vogue many many years ago in the UK but we didn't see any fruits.
Mrs Tvman and I were on holiday in Madeira 3 years ago and we went to the fish, fruit and vegetable market. Some massive Tuna there. We were having a chat with one of the fruit sellers and tasting strange fruits and he gave us the fruit of the Swiss cheese plant and it was delicious. Have you tried any?
Hi tvman, no i haven't...my friend said they are delicious...but only certain time you can eat them. So i'm not sure when to try. But the leaves look lovely...my plant is around 40 years old. And someone said they only get fruit after 10 years or so.
