Lung cancer stage 4 on Lunar trial

Hi, I have been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer and I'm palliative. I'm having 4 cycles of 2 chemo drugs and 1 immunotherapy drug, then will go onto a maintenance regime where they will drop one chemo drug.

I'm taking part in a clinical trial for Lunar 2. Wondered if anyone else is on this? I know it's been used for brain cancer and prostate cancer. I'm struggling with it and cannot imagine I will be able to wear it until the very end.
Lunar 2 is a device you wear day and night with large pads x4 around the chest for lung cancer, it emits electricity to disrupt cell division of cancer cells.

welcome to our little corner of the community, but I am sorry you have had to join us here. I am also a member of the lung group, and saw your post there, so decided to look up lunar2 as I hadn’t heard of it. It must be a very new trial as I couldn’t find out much about it.
Out of interest, how big are these pads, are they uncomfortable to wear? Do you have any sensation from the electricity? In my mind I can imagine a feeling like a tens machine which I would not like at all, but of course it may not be like that.

I was on the ModiFY trial - it was a vaccine, nothing like your trial. But I subsequently have an interest in trials and the developments in treatment they bring.

I've read about it now. To save anyone else googling, here is an explanation:

"The Lunar 2 study is evaluating the safety and efficacy of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) delivered by the NovoTTF-200T device together with standard immunotherapy, pembrolizumab and platinum-based chemotherapy, compared to pembrolizumab and platinum-based chemotherapy alone."

I found one person on here on the same trial as me, on this forum. I just tried the seach function (next to the home icon) but no one else has posted about it.
