Hi Quirky Lady
I can tell by the time that you posted this, that you probably haven’t slept much last night! Scan results are terrifying, and as much as we try to prepare ourselves it is never easy! I wish you all the luck in the world for today. Please let us know how you get on x
Still stable. So now booking a few treats and a break away . Thankyou for all the encouragement.
Lovely news, it's a huge weight lifted off your shoulders when your oncologist says that there's no change, it's stable. Go and book a holiday or what ever you fancy, you deserve it, infact all of us in this situation deserve it.
Congratulations, have a lovely time away ! X
You're not alone. Had my results on Weds, after a week of increasing low mood and anxiety. I've been having scans every three months for six years, and I felt like I got better at dealing with them, but any time there's an unexpected development, things flare up again.
The results were actually mostly pretty good, but I wish I didn't get myself in such a state anticipating them
