Hi everyone, hope you are keeping well, just a quick question, I have had 2 rounds of chemo and my throat is really sore, I was wondering if anyone has the same, l can eat and drink but it's sore when I swallow, I have had medication from the doctors but it doesn't seem to make any difference, has anyone had my this problem and what medication did you use to ease the pain.
Thanks
Hi Mmum I have been told that there was an infection but it's all clear now, it's like swallowing pins when I eat, I will talk to the doctor see what they say
Thanks
Hi Scottish Mac, Sorry to hear about your throat problems. I would definitely advise you to go back to your GP or Oncologist. If the infection is gone, then your throat shouldn’t still be sore, so something is causing it and it is up to Them to find out what.
I do hope you contact someone first thing this morning!
I haven’t been on the site as much, I kept getting signed out, so stopped trying to sign in!
Love Annette x
