Hi Everyone
I hope that you are all coping with what life is throwing at you. It is encouraging to see that fatigue is a common symptom of treatment but does anyone agree that it seems to be a fatigue like no other. I feel as though I could sleep the clock round and still be tired beyond reason. I do sometimes wonder though if it is just general mojo loss. As I am still quite short of breath it is hard to get going and then it's the old vicious circle the less you do the less you want to do. Anyone got any ideas? I am on my own so it's not like I have anyone running round after me. Any thoughts welcome even if you think I'm just being pathetic.
2nd round on Friday
Thanks for being there
JD
2nd treatment was last Friday thought I was going to get away a bit better but it was not to be. I can't get away from the bathroom, can someone please explain how you can have constipation, piles and the runs all at the same time?

Oh no poor you, was it chemo?
What you are describing is a thing.. read this below .
I've been there it's awful .
Keep drinking fluids & use softeners is a must..
They don't give you diarrhoea only soften impaction.
Obv the piles is from straining when its constipation.
Do Take care

Hi J Daniels
Sorry you're going through this. I do hope it improves soon!
If not, I think it would be a good idea to get in touch with your support nurse and let them know this is happening. They will have dealt with this problem before, and will have advice/extra medication/ a change to your treatment dose that should help you. If you don't get success that way, try your GP/practice nurse. You need to get on top of this!
Fingers crossed
xxx Kate
Hi JD, I agree with Kate, you definitely need to tell your Team what’s going on.
I didn’t think I had a dedicated nurse either, early on, but it turned out she had been sitting in during consultations with my oncologist for over two months! She was just introduced by her first name and wasn’t wearing a uniform but it turned out she was a McMillan Specialist Nurse! It might be worth asking your Oncologist or chemo nurse if you have one. It can make such a difference to have someone to turn to!
I hope you get some relief soon!
Love Annette x

Oh no PT sorry to hear about your ribs. I have the mets in most of my bones and spine is really fragile. My husband is too scared to hug me in case he does the same a bit rubbish is would say. I think cracked ribs take ages to heal. So now I am sending you an extra gentle hug x
