Hello to you all. Sorry to have met the criteria for inclusion in this group of the forum (Just recently diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, bone mets and multiple lymph node involvement. Described by oncologist as particularly nasty and unlucky, the cancer not me! She may be half correct as I can’t get a win a the bookies for love nor money). I am 53 and intend to hang around with my rather dark sense of humour for a long as possible. Current estimates anywhere from 12 to 36 months, so lets see if this time frame can be extended!
All the best to you all.
Michael
Watercress and cream cheese sandwiches are very good for iron.I also make a pesto from watercress, along with basil and pine nuts, ground almonds and XV olive oil. It's rather yummy and a nice way to get iron. I've had anaemia issues before but they are now sorted. Rainie x
Morning all I hope the bones etc are all hanging together, I also had some anaemia but I managed to resolve that with diet. We are all creaking at the edges but hanging in there :). I run every day and hope that helps my bones stay strong. I am told to rest a little but my attitude is I may as well do it now while I can! Hope you all have the best Sunday you can and sending my best and most positive thoughts to you all.
Well I don't know about you and Ulls but I am sweating more now I am off the hormones than when I was on them.
Every time I read that Ellie has done some work in or outdoors, I start it pouring out of me again in sympathy!
And where's the wellbeing I was meant to be experiencing once I was unplugged.?
Off to Sunday School now hoping for some retrospective forgiveness.
I suppose your body has to get used to not being hormone suppred, still taking my hormone breakfast every day
The nuisance will be when I start feeling better then the figures go up and I'm back on them again.
There was a good reason for signing up to this no treatment treatment but I'm buggered if I can think of what it was!
Sounds like you're memory is as good as mine, why was I answering this post?????
