Hi everyone. I have to say that going from hmmm is that a lump under my boob to BC with mets in bones and liver, stage 4 within a fortnight some months ago has been a hell of a ride.
I decided like many of you it seems to organise wills, funeral and financial stuff now and get it all out the way, otherwise I felt overwhelmed with it all. I'm making good progress but sometimes it doesn't seem to be real and other times it's oh so real. I guess you guys get that.
Trying to stay positive and on an even keel with some success and have as many laughs as I can.
Hi Kiwi gal,
Dont know if you have posted here before, but welcome anyway. yes thats quite a ride you have had in terms of diagnosis out of the blue. The practical stuff is important and then you are freed up to get on with the rest of what you want to do - living, laughing, criying etc.
x
Yep, your right it's all a roller coaster . Sometimes ya hold on and scream and sometimes you just gotta raise your arms and yell TWANDA!
If you haven't seen Kathy Bates in Fried Green Tomatoes that last statement may seem bizarre.
When in doubt channel that f***k you attitude she had.
Think I'm a natural, part laid back kiwi, part kick arse.
