Hi everyone im new here, recently diagnosed with a nasty fast spreading incurable rhabdomyosarcoma which has all but paralysed my right leg. I started chemo 3 weeks ago and now my hair has all fallen out, now I thought I had prepared myself for this, buying beanies, wigs etc and mentally prepping myself up.... but you know I'm in mourning it was traumatic, luckily I have a small and perfectly formed head! Who knew! Anyway still coming to terms, it's only hair it'll grow back, I'm getting married in February so perhaps not in time for the big day! The good news is my chemo appears to be working and everything heading in the right direction which is the positive to take from this I guess. Thanks for welcoming me into the group and getting that load of my chest!
Hello Mammyrocket. Sorry you have to go through this and are here with us in this forum, but you will find a lot of advice and support here - not to mention kindness and love. Have you looked at the other Hair thread? We've been discussing this very topic this week. I'm sure that no matter what the hair situation is when you come to your wedding day you will be beautiful. Offload here any time. Big hugs. Rainie x
Welcome to the group and congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and the chemo doing it's job.
Best wishes
Sarah
