Hi I have stage 4 lung cancer metastasis to lung lining, I was on tagrisso for 15 months before progression. On 5th December I had my first chemo session of pemetrexed and carboplatin, 2 hours later I had a heart attack, was in hospital for a week where they put a stent into my main artery. This has meant my chemo has stopped until March. I am scared of further progression my question is has anyone been off treatment this long and had an ok outcome. Xx
Hi Blossom04 I have no experience with this, but just wanted to reach out to you. You sound like you’ve had a terrible time, that must of been very scary for you. I know how anxious you must be, but for now try and rest and get your strength back for when the treatment starts again. Wishing you all the best.
