Hi everyone, I’ve not been on in a wee while just getting on with life but I’ve hit a wee bump. I had a ct scan and waiting on the results feeling nervous as I’ll know if the target treatment is keeping my cancer at even keel also my back pain seems to suddenly not getting any better I have spoken to the oncologist and I have to wait on results…. So feeling a bit low and trying to to put a brave face on for my girls is hard so thought I’d put a wee rant on

thanks for listening Angie

  • You have my sympathy  .

I too can often ignore things and get on with life, but waiting for results is awful.  How long do you have to wait?  It is usually two to three weeks for me and it seems a long time.

Feel free to rant.  Lots of us go through the same cycle of low points.  Every three months for me at present.

    Love n hugs.

  • Aww thank you SandyN  that’s exactly how I’m feeling just now . Do t go to oncology until end of  December so I guess I’ll just have to wait so it’ll be up all night for a wee while until I settle down again. That’s me finished up from my work place been there 20 years going to miss my routine so that was another big change.

  • Hi Weeglesga woman,  scan every three months for me too.  Have mine on Monday and then oncology in January.  Scanxiety is rubbish.  I know what you mean I had to give up working in June and been there almost 22 years.  Miss my friends and my routine but have got used to a lie in now . Grin

  • Hi Angie

Scanxiety is real and horrible. But thoughts are not facts, we just have to keep busy and doing things we enjoy and value in the main time.
