I am happy to report that in the week and a half following my 3rd immunotherapy/chemo treatment I have been a lot better.
Chemo was reduced by 20% and that seems to have helped. I am managing to eat 3 meals a day but it is a concern that weight is still dropping off me. My hope now is that when I have my scan after 4 treatments it is shown that there is no worsening of symptoms and they can continue treating me.
It is my hope that you are all getting the love and support that you need.
Much Love from JD xx
Hi JD
That's great news!
Fingers crossed that your treatment is working, and you get good news when the scan report is available.
If you are concerned about your continuing weight loss, you could ask for dietary advice. Your CNS, if you have one, should be able to help with this, hopefully.
Onwards and upwards!
xxx Kate
I had 20% dose reduction and it does not appear to impact on the effectiveness of the chemo. I honestly don’t think a small dose reduction/ treatment breaks have any significant impact on the outcome.
