It's a bit of a relief to have got "strong agreement" from my Oncology Consultant today for an Oesophageal Stent to be placed next week. Im even having to blend scrambled eggs now! It's going to be a busy week as the day after I start CAPOX and Herceptin therapies. Anyone had either a stent and/or Capox, Herceptin if so I'd love to know how you got on ..the good and the bad.
Morning I had capox with herceptin from sept 2023 . After completing capox chemo I have continued with herceptin . I get this as an infusion ever 3 weeks it's stabilising my stomach cancer with very few side effects . If you read my profile it has an more detailed explanation of my journey so far .
Oh quirky lady. This is exactly what I'm hoping will happen to me.I know it's not Curative but the fact it can buy us extra time is a glimmer in this darkness.Stay well x
