I finished my second course of radiotherapy last week and will be having my fourth infusion of Nivolumab tomorrow. Today I got the results from a CT scan in which the radiologist said there was ‘nothing that could be measured’
im taking that to mean, in effect, NED at this stage although there are a few small nodules etc that the hospital will monitor every three months. In the meantime, keep up the immuno every four weeks indefinitely.
A big surprise and a huge relief.
Wonderful news MarkWFD it sounds like the immunotherapy is doing it’s job for you. Keep at it !
Hi Mark I'm also on Nivolumab indefinitely I've just done cycle 30 I think. My last scan shows a small increase in one area so that's getting a blast of radiotherapy but because all other areas are stable my 4 weekly hospital trips continue. The radiotherapy is mostly for pain relief is my understanding as well as trying to halt further growth in the area. Bone pain is horrible as sadly I'm sure many of you know
